What is Midweek Melt?

Midweek Melt is a weekly 1-hour live guided experience designed to help you:

  • Calm your nervous system
  • Release emotional and mental load
  • Reconnect with your body and inner wisdom
  • Feel grounded, resourced, and like yourself again

This is not therapy.
This is not fixing.

This is being gently guided back into balance.

What Happens In a Session?

Each session gently weaves together:

  • Somatic, body-based practices
  • Guided hypnotherapy / focused awareness
  • Emotional regulation tools
  • Mind–body–spirit integration

You don’t need to talk.
You don’t need to share.
You don’t need to explain.

You simply arrive  and are guided.

What hypnosis actually feels like

Hypnosis is simply focused awareness, the same state you enter when:

  • You daydream
  • You get absorbed in a book
  • You drive and don’t remember the last few kilometres

Some people feel:

  • Deep relaxation
  • Physical sensations
  • Emotional release

Others feel like “nothing much is happening”… and notice changes later. 

A small number of people enter a deep hypnotic state (somnambulism) and may not consciously remember parts of the session. However, your mind and body will always bring you back if something needs your attention. 

There is no right way to experience it. You close your eyes and listen to my voice. Your system knows what to do.

Hypnosis is not suitable if you are experiencing acute psychosis, mania, untreated severe dissociation, or a current suicidal crisis.  If you live with a seizure disorder or are receiving intensive mental health treatment, we recommend checking with your healthcare professional before participating.

Each month in Mid-Week Melt explores one broad area of wellbeing.

 Rather than following a rigid weekly structure, sessions are guided by what feels most supportive and relevant for the group at the time.

Below are examples of themes and prompts that may be explored across the month. Each week may draw from one or more of these, allowing the work to remain responsive, spacious, and grounded in real life.

This month may include gentle exploration of themes such as:

  • Mindset and self-talk

  • Focus, mental fatigue, and cognitive load

  • Stress management and busy-mind patterns

  • Inner critic and confidence

  • Rumination, obsessive thinking, and looping thoughts

  • Phobias, anxiety, and fear responses
