Origins
Why I Created Soulscape
I created Soulscape after walking through loss, identity collapse, and deep healing and discovering that the way home isn't fixing ourselves, but remembering who we are beneath the survival layers. Soulscape exists to guide others back into that remembering through the body, the nervous system, and the quiet wisdom within. Â
Â
Soulscape was born in a moment of stillness
During a meditation, as my breath slowed and the noise of the world softened, the word Soulscape arrived fully formed, gentle, clear, and unmistakable. A name for an inner terrain I had been walking for years.
Later that same morning, walking through the forest near my home, a heron appeared. It stood quietly, watching me, unmoving, unafraid, deeply present. The timing felt impossible to ignore. I took it as a sign, a confirmation that Soulscape wasn’t just a name, but a calling.Â
Herons have long been symbols of stillness, patience, and inner knowing.
They teach us how to stand calmly in uncertain waters, to wait without forcing, and to trust that what we need will rise to meet us when we are ready. Across many cultures, the heron represents self-reflection, independence, and the ability to navigate emotional depths without being consumed by them. It doesn’t rush. It doesn’t chase. It listens. And then, with precision and grace, it moves.
That is the essence of Soulscape.Â
Soulscape is an invitation to slow down enough to hear yourself again. It’s for those moments when life looks “fine” on the outside, yet something inside feels scattered, tired, or quietly aching. If you’ve been holding it together, caring for others, pushing through, or feeling disconnected from your own body and inner voice—this is for you.
Within Soulscape, you are guided back to your own inner landscape, where clarity replaces overwhelm.Â
Through Soulscape, you may discover:
- A calmer nervous system and a deeper sense of safety in your body
- Relief from anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
- A renewed connection to your intuition and inner wisdom
- Freedom from old patterns, habits, or emotional loops that no longer serve you
- Greater self-compassion, clarity, and emotional resilience
- A sense of coming home to yourself—without needing to be fixed or changed
Soulscape doesn’t ask you to become someone new.
It simply invites you to return to the part of you that already knows the way.
Like the heron, you learn to stand steady in the waters of your life… and trust what rises next.Â
Searching For Connection
For as long as I can remember, I have been searching for connection not just with people, but with the truth of who I really am.
As a child, I survived severe trauma by living in imagination and fantasy.
As a young woman, I found belonging inside a fundamentalist religion that later shattered my identity when I discovered the doctrines I had built my life on no longer aligned with truth.
When I left, I lost my family, my community, and every friend I had ever known.Â
I was left rebuilding myself from the ground up. A single mother of four in my early thirties, studying psychology, working in nursing, and trying to answer the question that kept echoing inside me:
Â
Who am I, really?
Am I the sum of my trauma?
The victim of what I’ve lived through?
The identity others assigned me?
The beliefs I no longer hold?
If not that… then who?
Â
My life has unfolded in chapters — trauma, imagination, religion, loss, rebuilding, disconnect, reconnection.
In every chapter, the Divine found a way to reach me: through dreams that came true, visions, an out-of-body experience, answered prayers, and moments of guidance during my darkest nights. Even when I was 99.9% uncertain that God or a Higher Power existed, I never turned away completely.
Over time I learned that healing is not about becoming someone new, it’s about returning to who you were before the world taught you to disconnect.
- Hypnotherapy helped me rewire my subconscious and soften the places inside that were bracing for impact.
- A Course in Miracles taught me the power of love and the radical liberation of forgiveness.
- Dr Joe Dispenza’s work awakened my heart and restored a sense of peace, connection, and purpose I had been searching for my whole life.Â
Now, entering my 60th year, this season of my life feels like a return — a renewal — a time to give back all that I’ve learned through decades of healing, surviving, growing, and awakening.
Soulscape is my offering to the world.
A sanctuary for those who feel fragmented, lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are anymore.
A space for those who have carried others for years and are finally ready to come home to themselves.
A place where rest is sacred, connection is medicine, and your inner landscape becomes your guide.
Forged in fire.
Sustained by Spirit.
Fuelled by love.Â
Soulscape is where you get to breathe again, reconnect, remember who you are, and discover that you were never alone.
